About Us
Delta Omicron Zeta is a coeducational fraternity of diverse student leaders.
The fraternity fosters the personal growth of our members through the observation and practice of leadership. To do this, we create the time and space for self-reflection and inspire relationship building, each challenging our members to become better leaders at USC and in our community.
While many fraternities encompass an element of leadership in their approach, leadership is the focus of our fraternity, not a byproduct.
Weekly chapter meetings and outside leadership events call for members to act in and react to unexpected situations that require leadership. The fraternity not only provides new partners, mentors, and consultants for future leadership ventures,but also a support system that understands the responsibilities, challenges, and fulfillment of being a leader.
More than a network of outstanding students, DOZ is a family.

What exactly do we do?
Journeyman SemesterThe foundation of DOZ is the Journeyman or “pledge” semester, in which Journeymen participate in weekly meetings and outside leadership challenge events to test their leadership strategies in real situations. They then assess their responses and the actions of their peers, encouraging each person to review his or her own decision-making process and improve upon it. |
Luminary ProgramContinuing the development established in the Journeyman semester, active members engage in chapter meetings that focus on the Luminary Program, which examines leadership through many lenses. We continue to explore leadership beyond these meetings at retreats, speaker programs, and leadership forums. |
Social EventsWe really just can’t get enough of each other. Beyond personal and group enrichment activities, DOZ hosts many fun social events for our members, including tailgates, potlucks, and formals. |
PhilanthropyDOZ boasts leaders who like to loosen up and have a good time, but can also be focused and take tough action in leadership. A proponent of service learning, DOZ partakes in philanthropy, our ultimate goal to give back to our local and world communities. |
