There are only two weeks until schools starts, and many USC students are finishing up their internships, or vacations, tackling new apartment shopping, and finalizing course schedules. For the DOZ rush team, we’ve been doing all these things, and some more! In addition to publishing the Spring 2010 version of the Ambassador, DOZ’s semesterly newsletter, we have also completed many content and cosmetic updates to the website. If you have any suggestions, we welcome them in the comments section below.

We are also very excited to announce the theme for Rush DOZ Fall 2010!

Change how you see. See how you change.

Through the Journeyman program, active interviews, and the unique opportunity to get to know yourself better, we believe that DOZ stimulates new members to challenge their perspectives. As we ask the Journeymen to reevaluate their strategies in leadership, we have been following suit or, maybe, leading by example.

For this semester’s rush, look out for some changes including an improved registration process, moving the Leadership Speaker Series to the first week of rush, and inviting all active members to the potential member brunch. Our Speaker Series will feature two experienced and exciting leaders from the USC Center on Communication Leadership and Policy and from AEG, the company that runs LA Live. Keep posted for more info!

We cannot wait to meet the potential rushees and show them what DOZ is all about. In the mean time, we welcome you to explore more about our recruitment period on our rush page.

Want to be in the Zeta class of DOZ? Show us what you got!

Best regards,

Diana Smith

Vice President of Communications
